21 Sep How to stay Resilient in the shadows of unemployment?
With the recent economic downturn, multiple companies are having retrenchment exercises with the aim of sustainability. This resulted in an increase in unemployment rate, leaving plenty Singaporeans jobless.
The unemployment rate for Singaporeans and permanent residents was 3 per cent last month, the highest since end-2010. Layoffs also reached a seven-year high. And according to economic predictions, this might just be the tip of the iceberg.
In view of a bleak economic future, how do we stay strong and pull through the storm before it clears?
In this communal meetup, we will be discussing on how do we stay resilient during unemployment, and what are the possible avenues we can turn to, to help us cope better.
