As a career coach, Aik Saw’s specialty is enhancing employability skills. In 2016, he coached several unemployed PMETs one-on-one and led almost half of them to secure jobs. This feat recorded the highest number of clients who have gone on to find work in a nationwide employability programme.
He was also previously a trainer for Age Friendly Initiative workshops for over 200 SingHealth frontline staff as well as Team Building workshops for OCBC where he trained over 100 staff. Aik Saw has also trained SingTel’s salespeople in team building workshops. In these workshops, he added value by relating the various training exercises to real workplace practices.
With more than 20 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, HR and training, Aik Saw had a stellar career at IBM ASEAN where he achieved sales revenue of over $50M. Previously ranked among IBM’s top salesmen in the Americas and Asia, Aik Saw now lends his expertise to other companies in training HR, Administration and Sales departments. Many of the managers and staff whom he coached, successfully moved up the corporate ladder.
With his frank and forthright manner, he uses his prior experiences at IBM and SMEs to his advantage as a career coach. Having honed his observation skills with a focus on quality control and process re-engineering, he now uses those skills to analyse his coachees’ strengths, and increase their chances of securing a job or move to the next level in their career.
